Summit Instruments Inc. is now Spectrum Sensors & Controls-Akron, providing electronic test and measurement solutions and inertial sensors for demanding industrial, military, aerospace, and research applications. Inertial Measurement Systems (IMS) are integrated, self-contained systems used in stores separation and flight instrumentation that can be installed in under 20 minutes. User-configurable IRIG telemetry, sensor ranges, and telemetry transmitter frequencies are included. 

Data from external sensors can also be received. For flexibility and ease of use, Spectrum Sensors & Controls-Akron's digital accelerometers are unrivaled. Free software is provided that allows users to easily change g-range, bandwidth and serial communication rate. Affordable analog accelerometers are small, rugged, and reliable, built to user-selected full scale g range and bandwidths. A line of analog rate gyros is also available to meet rotational measurement needs. Full application support, NIST traceable calibration, warranty and repair services are provided. In addition to standard products, Spectrum Sensors & Controls-Akron will gladly customize products to meet unique specifications, resulting in the accurate, dependable data that is required.
